Mission Statement

Indiana Explosion Blue Star AAU Basketball program is a non-profit organization entering its first year of operation. Blue Star Baskteball is a part of Nike's Grassroots program, and has been sponsored by Nike for over 10 years. Indiana Explosion Basketball program strives to provide a positive environment conducive for our young ladies to reach their athletic and academic potential. Our vision is to have a “team” structure that is supportive of our players, coaches, and parents and references ”The Athletic Triangle" which focuses on the relationship between the player, parent and coach.

 

Our goal is to develop the concept of teamwork and have our players “Honor the ROOTS of the Game”. We will help develop our player’s fundamental skills that will allow them to compete at the high school and college level. In line with our mission of student/athlete our players will work hard academically, and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
